The pyramid

The pyramid is the polyhedron that “converges” towards a single vertex.

Definition — Pyramid

A pyramid has a polygonal base and a vertex $V$ outside the plane of the base; the lateral faces are triangles. It is right if the foot of the altitude drawn from $V$ coincides with the centre of the base (and the base is regular).
