Bernoulli scheme

Definition — Bernoulli scheme

We call repeated trials (or Bernoulli scheme) $n$ independent experiments, each with only two outcomes (“success” with probability $p$, “failure” with probability $1-p$). We want to compute the probability that success occurs exactly $k$ times.
